The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the group enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
